THE STORY SO FAR
I’m Jo, and that’s one of my first loves – Daisy, the other (Pepe) you’ll see him in the next image!
Being born on a farm, animals have always been part of my life. Our family dog ‘bobek’ is still alive and thriving on the farm back home. Funny thing is we stopped counting his birthdays years ago when he turned 20 and he’s still going strong. I’ve always had a connection with all animals, however the four legged furry companion has always bought the most joy.
We’re all about raising adorable Maltese and Maltipoo pups, here at MLA Pets, which stands for My Little Angels. Our journey began in 2018, but our founder’s love for the Maltese dog breed started way back in 2010, when she welcomed her first Maltese dogs, Pepe and Daisy. These two beautiful UK standard-sized Maltese dogs ignited a deep love for the breed.
After adding Tyra another Maltese Dog to the pack and equipped with the knowledge of the breed and the care and compassion of a clinical nurse in mental health. She was able to become an accredited Kennel Club Assured Maltese Breeder and a Registered Council Breeder.
From back then until now our aim has always been to breed the most beautiful, healthy, and well-behaved Maltese puppies. Focusing extensively on the Korean Bloodline Maltese, which possess teddy bear looks that make you fall in love with them at first sight. Since 2020, we’ve broadened our horizons to include the charming Maltipoo, blending together some of the best qualities of the Maltese and Poodle breeds. The result? Unique puppies with distinctive Korean conformation and irresistible charm.
What started as a hobby has now developed into a full-time love affair with bringing joy to people through our puppies. Each puppy is proof of our commitment, raised under the most delicate care until they leave us. Welcome to the MLA Pets family!

We got our beautiful Milo from MLA in January 2023. Having researched the best maltese breeders in the UK, we settled on MLA and it was the best decision we made.
Milo is healthy and gorgeous with the most lovely personality. Puppies are exactly as described on the MLA website.
From the moment we met him on video call with Jo, we knew he was the right dog for us. When we first brought him home, it was apparent that he had had a very good start in life and had been extremely well looked after. This made a big difference to us as first time owners. The whole experience with MLA was great from start to finish. Can’t recommend highly enough. He is perfect.
We got our beautiful Mavis from Jo in 2022. As first time dog owners Jo was so helpful and answered all of our questions throughout the process and even months after she came to us. We visited Jo’s home before Mavis was ready to leave so we could meet Jo and Mavis’ mum. It was really helpful to see what a loving home she had come from before we took her into our family.
Jo provided us with a ‘puppy pack’ to get us started which was really helpful and she guided us on the right foods etc to keep a maltipoo healthy.
We would definitely return to Jo in the future should we want a sibling for Mavis!
